Redevelopment Agneten Monastery phase 1 Sittard

The redevelopment of the former monastery complex Sint Agnetenberg (phase I) in Sittard is part of the Agneten area development in the city centre of Sittard, and part of the Masterplan Zitterd Revisited.

The Redevelopment of this first phase includes restoration, new construction and demolition. Besides Povše & Timmermans, two other architectural firms and a landscape architect are involved in this development. The vacant Sint Agnetenberg monastery complex, whose monumental parts date from the seventeenth century, is being transformed into a characteristic residential area.
