Who are we?
Povše & Timmermans architects & engineers has put itself on the map in recent years with assignments for the architectural design of buildings for government, semi-government, foundations, and investors, including schools, offices, sports facilities, town halls, homes for the elderly, (social) housing, funerary centres, etc. In the meantime, the firm has now grown into a versatile office of predominantly young architects.
Povše & Timmermans architects & engineers was founded in 2004. Dr CEng (afkorting voor J. (Iwan) Povše and CEng G (Geert) Timmermans equally manage the office establishments in Sittard, Tilburg and Selfkant(GER), and lead a team of architects and engineers. We have extensive experience and have been involved in a wide range of projects, both in the field of restoration and new construction (utility construction and housing) in urban and rural areas. Povše & Timmermans is therefore a renowned architectural firm that has designed a wide variety of architectural buildings.
Despite our size, we are not a large, hierarchical organization. By working with small independent units, each of which can carry out both small and very large assignments, under the supervision of an individually operating architect, contact with the client remains as direct as possible. This is not only in the client’s interest, but also the only way for an architect to make his personal vision clear.
Our mission of integrated services places strong emphasis on spatial visualization and our projects stand out for their originality, sustainability, and innovation. The latter, however, always with an awareness of cultural-historical values and respect for the individuality and identity of projects.
Povše & Timmermans architects & engineers is fully committed to architectural design and the architectural elaboration of our projects. For all other disciplines, we prefer to work to cooperate with other specialized consultancies (installations, constructions, etc.) in the fields of spatial planning, urban development and architecture.
